All TOURS ARE SUBJECT TO THESE FOLLOWING GENERAL INFORMATION, TERMS & CONDITIONS
All tours in South Africa are conducted by Getaway Tours & Safaris which is a privately owned company based in Malelane, a town on the Southern border of the Kruger National Park. Our tours in East Africa are done in conjunction with Kutunza Tours :
1. CONDITIONS
All undertaken with Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd are done so entirely at your own risk. Safaris into Africa Pty Ltd accepts no liability for death, sickness, injury, property loss or damage, howsoever occurred by or occurring to participants, common non-playing companions/ spouses, spectators or other invitees during or arising out of any aspect or presentation of the tour whatsoever or howsoever and whether any such death, sickness, injury, property loss or damage was caused or contributed to any act whatsoever by Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd, it’s stewards, or agents or by any other entity whatsoever, and you hereby indemnify Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd and agree to keep indemnified Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd, its employees, agents and business associates against any loss or damage which may be sustained. Safaris Into Africa, its employees, agents, stewards arising from any claims inclusive of claims interest, and costs which may be made by you arising out of your participation in any tour arranged by Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd whatsoever.
2. CONFIMATION OF BOOKINGS
Registration forms and fees will be acknowledged and confirmed in writing. Please check the confirmation letter carefully and advise on any changes in writing immediately.
Registration must be accompanied by a 25% non refundable deposit or full payment. If a deposit is made the final payments must reach our offices 56 days (8 weeks) prior to departure date. Bookings made within 45 days of departure date must be paid in full Progress payments may be required for the tour. Payments can be done by bank transfer, credit card, cheque or direct deposit Credit card (Mastercard and Visa only) payment will incur a 2% processing fee.
3. CANCELLATIONS
Safaris Into Africa Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for any cancellation of the tour (in part or whole) due to circumstances beyond their control. In such circumstances the tour can be transferred to another date suitable to the customer.
While we do everything possible to keep the itinerary, conditions beyond our control might lead us to alter our route or accommodation schedule, though this will only be done in consultation with our guests
All cancellations are subject to hospitality industry requirements and as such the following charges will apply:
42 – 30 days cancellation prior to departure forfeits 50% of payment
30 – 15 days cancellation prior to departure forfeit 100% payment.
Prices quoted are per person sharing accommodation.
Prices are quote according to the Foreign Exchange rate and can fluctuate from time to time. Final Price will be obtained on date of final payment, and the necessary adjustments made.
Prices do not include air travel, (international or domestic fares) unless otherwise stipulated in the quote.
If the company considers the client as unsuitable for a tour it may at its absolute discretion cancel such clients booking or decline to carry the client further if that client causes inconvenience or annoyance to other passengers.
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Registration fees do not include personal travel insurance of any kind. If booking air travel, it is conditional that you arrange a travel/medical insurance policy to cover loss, cancellation, medical conditions, etc. Visitors to wildlife areas in Southern Africa should commence anti-malaria medication prior to arrival in those areas. We recommend that you contact a Travel doctor in your area for information regarding vaccinations or medication required for your trip.
5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Please ensure that all travel documents (passports, visa’s etc.) are in order prior to departure for Africa.
Passports should be valid for 12 months after departure.
6. DISCLAIMER
Details are true and correct at the time of printing, Safaris into Africa Pty Ltd are not responsible for any changes that may occur and reserve the right to make tour changes. We are not carriers or hoteliers and do not own aircraft, hotels or transport vehicles. Safaris Into Africa act as agents for all persons taking its tours in the making of all the arrangements for transport, sightseeing and accommodation for the tour programmes. By accepting and utilising the services Clients agree that Safaris Into Africa nor its representatives shall be liable to any person takings its tours for any injury to such persons, or for loss or damage to, their belongings or otherwise in connections with any accommodation, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurances beyond its control, including breakdown of equipment, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation or changes in itineraries or schedules.
7. GUIDES
All guides are highly qualified, experienced and registered. Should passenger numbers fall below (6)six we reserve the right to withdraw our Tour Escort from this tour.
Prices normally include airfares to and from South Africa. Check on the tour concerned. Although the tour has been designed around the services of a particular airline, the services of other airlines may be used if necessary. Note that no airline or carrier depicted or recommended in our brochures represents themselves as contracting with a purchaser of the tour or having any other legal relationship with any purchaser other than that expressed in their conditions of carriage. Requests for airline seating and room preferences are made on behalf of clients, however not guaranteed. All requests are subject to preferences of the service provider.
DO NOT CARRY IN HAND LUGGAGE ANY SHARP ITEMS such as pocket knives, scissors, etc
Hats, Dark glasses, sun screen and insect repellent are advised.
No formal clothes are required, dress, comfortable, and casual.
Travel & Medical Insurance is mandatory.
Max weight of luggage 20kgs preferably 1 bag/suitcase per person.
Final payment should reach our offices 8 weeks prior to departure date.
